Binned offers a Monthly Maintenance Plan that includes a power washing and odor neutralizing treatment for either one (1) two (2) bins every month.

DOES BINNED OFFER A ONE BIN MAINTENANCE PLAN?

No, Binned does not offer a one bin maintenance plan.

 

WHY ARE CLEANINGS SCHEDULED ON TRASH COLLECTION DAYS?

To make sure your bins are empty prior to cleaning, we place you into our system for scheduling on one of your trash collection days.

Often, trash collection varies on what time they arrive. Binned will coordinate to arrive after trash collection services. If Binned arrives prior to trash collection and is unable to fulfill its services, Binned will reschedule its service for the following week.

 

DOES BINNED CONSIDER MY RECYCLE BIN AS A TRASH BIN?

Yes, even recycle bins have been found to contain particles of bacteria, which is why Binned considers your recycle bin a trash bin.

 

WHEN IS MY RECYCLE BIN SCHEDULED TO BE CLEANED?

Due to each city’s recycling schedule being different, Binned will coordinate its services for a time that enables the cleaning of both trash and recycle bins on the same day. If a customers recycle bin has not been emptied prior to the time Binned arrives, Binned will clean the recycle bin on another one of your trash collection days that month. If both your trash and recycle bin have been emptied by collection before a Binned representative has arrived for cleaning, we will clean both bins on the same day.

 

ONCE I SIGN UP, HOW DO I SCHEDULE MY CLEANING DAY?

During our sign up process you will be asked to enter your weekly trash collection day. We handle everything, placing you into our system for efficient scheduling on one of your trash collection days every month.

For example, if your trash collection day is Tuesday. This means we will clean your bins on one of the Tuesdays in the month of your scheduled service – guaranteed.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO THE DAY OF MY BINNED CLEANING?

On the day of your scheduled Binned cleaning, please leave the bins you have scheduled to be cleaned at your curb after trash collection has emptied your bins. You will know Binned has completed your cleaning by an easily removable bin cleaning service sticker placed on your bin, notifying completions.

If you did not place your bins at your curb for trash collection but still want your bins cleaned on your scheduled cleaning day, it is your responsibility to empty the bins and have them placed at the curb prior to servicing. We will attempt to notify you via email and SMS / text message 24 hours prior to your scheduled cleaning so you can prepare your bins for servicing.

WHY WOULD YOUR TRASH BINS NOT SERVICED?

Some of the more common reasons your bin(s) were not serviced are:

(1)  Bin(s) contained trash in them when we arrived to service them

Protection of your privacy is a top priority. That’s why we will NEVER clean bins that still have trash in them – seeing as some people toss sensitive documentation, credit card info and more. Please be sure to empty your bins prior to our arrival – this is why we attempt to remind you that we’ll be coming, 24-hours in advance via email and SMS/text message. *Please note that message and data rates may apply with respect to SMS / text message notifications you receive from us.

(2)  Bin(s) were damaged or had cracks in them

We will not clean bins that are damaged or have cracks in them prior to a Binned cleaning. All damaged bins will be noted with comments and photos and filed in our records.

(3)  Bin(s) contained oil or similar substances in them

If there is any oil or similar substances in your bin, we will be unable to fulfill our service owing to potential damage to our equipment.

(4)  Bin(s) were not placed on the curb when we arrived to service them

Our dedicated employees will NEVER search your property for bins that are not placed at the curb.

 

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

If you wish to cancel your subscription please contact us at cancellations@getbinned.com. A Binned representative will get in contact with you to assist in cancelling your subscription.

 

DOES BINNED HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Yes, Binned is covered through liability insurance that it maintains. 

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BINS AREN’T CLEANED TO MY SATISFACTION?

If you are not completely satisfied with your Binned cleaning, please contact us at support@getbinned.com and a Binned representative will be in touch with you to resolve any problem.

 

WHAT MAKES BINNED ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?

Binned uses up to 250° F heated water, instead of chemicals, to eliminate bacteria from your bins.

Once a bin has been serviced, the dirty water is collected in the Binned equipment and dumped at safe, designated sites at the end of each day. This process ensures that individuals don’t take on trash cleaning on their own by using chemicals and dumping the dirty water into the storm drain, where it can intoxicate a city’s water system.

 

WHAT TYPE OF ODER NEUTRALIZER DOES BINNED USE?

Binned uses a powerful, industrial grade odor neutralizer to eliminate any leftover odors in your trash bins.

 

DOES BINNED USE A DEGREASER?

It some cases Binned may use a degreaser to help loosen dirt and debris from the bins before they are lifted for power washing. Using a degreaser is not always necessary and is only used during rare occasions.
